Welcome!

I hope you find this useful and engaging, with information about upcoming concerts, projects that I am involved in as a Recorderist and Flautist, as well as my teaching practice.

About

Charlotte Constantine has recently completed an MMus in Recorder at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with Annabel Knight and Chris Orton. Whilst there she had opportunities to perform in front of renowned recorder players in a masterclass setting such as Michael Form, Susanna Borsch, and flautist Wilbert Hazelet and ensemble masterclasses with Bart Spanhove. In her final year, Charlotte performed with a group of baroque instrumentalists as part of the London International Festival of Early Music. Previously, she studied flute at Keele University with tuition from Jane Pembleton-Smyth. Charlotte is currently a chaperone for the choristers of Romsey Abbey where she supports the singing and teaches the choristers music theory. She is a keen teacher, currently teaching woodwind in primary and secondary schools. Alongside this she also teaches privately in and around Hampshire. Charlotte is in much demand as a performer and teacher and has recently relished the opportunity to perform duo recitals with Harvey Stansfield (Organ), at Blackburn Cathedral, St Faith's Church, Crosby and St Chad's Church, Poulton-Le-Fylde.
